In a recent milestone event, COB welcomed a high-level international delegation consisting of officials, mayors, and senior representatives from 83 provinces across Northern Thailand, who visited COB’s green energy facility in Malaysia. This official visit highlighted both Thailand’s strong interest in sustainable technologies and COB’s growing influence as a leader in environmental innovation.
During the tour, the Thai delegation expressed high praise for COB’s fully integrated pyrolysis system, its automated plastic waste handling processes, and its clean energy conversion solutions. Many officials voiced their support and strong interest in inviting Dato’ Sri Stanley Goh Teik Keng to introduce COB’s green energy development plans to Northern Thailand, with the goal of building a localized green energy ecosystem. The delegation emphasized that COB would be warmly welcomed in Thailand and expressed willingness to collaborate on policy, land, and resource facilitation to support project development.
COB responded positively, stating that it is currently assessing the feasibility of establishing a pilot facility and feedstock processing center in Thailand. The company also expressed its commitment to advancing cross-border cooperation in technology transfer, green energy infrastructure, and workforce development.
